1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Premier Psittacine Aviary, purchasing a parrot (such as an African Grey for Sale or Hyacinth Macaw for Sale), or engaging with our content, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, alongside our Health Guarantee & Return Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Live Animal Sales, Deposits & Contracts

  • Deposits: To reserve an available or upcoming parrot chick, a non-refundable deposit is required. This deposit secures your specific bird and covers initial holding, weaning, and customized care costs.

  • Sales Contract: Prior to the final transfer or shipment of any bird, the buyer must review and sign our official Aviary Sales Contract. This legally binding agreement outlines our health guarantee, return policies, and lifelong welfare expectations to protect both you and your new companion.

  • Payment Completion: Full payment for any bird, plus any applicable shipping, permit, or transport fees, must be received and cleared prior to the bird’s departure from our facility or scheduled pickup.

  • Pricing & Availability: Due to the specialized nature of hand-raising rare psittacine species, prices and availability are subject to change without notice prior to a deposit being placed.

3. Legal Compliance & CITES Documentation

Because we specialize in highly regulated, elite psittacine species such as African Greys and Hyacinth Macaws (CITES Appendix I), all sales are strictly subject to wildlife laws and regulations.

  • Every bird that leaves our facility is accompanied by proper legal documentation. This includes veterinary health certificates, DNA genotyping records, closed-band identification numbers, and a legally executed transfer of ownership.

  • The buyer is responsible for ensuring that all local, state, and federal laws regarding the ownership of exotic birds are fully complied with prior to purchase.

4. Shipping, Delivery, and Pickup

  • We coordinate safe, professional transit for our birds through certified live animal couriers where applicable, or schedule direct pickups at our facility.

  • Cross-border or international transit is subject to strict governmental wildlife controls (see our Shipping & Delivery Policy for details on CITES permits).

5. Health Guarantee & Buyer Responsibilities

  • All sales are governed by our official Health Guarantee & Return Policy.

  • The buyer agrees to take the newly acquired bird to a licensed avian veterinarian for a baseline health exam within the stipulated timeframe (72 hours of arrival) to validate health terms. Failure to do so may void specific health provisions.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content published on this website including text, graphics, logos, images, metadata layouts, and custom design elements is the exclusive property of Premier Psittacine Aviary and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any website content or our brand assets for commercial purposes without explicit, written permission from our management.

7. Limitation of Liability

Premier Psittacine Aviary shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the handling, housing, or care of live animals after they have left our direct control, or from the use of our website and services.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to our business operations, without regard to conflict of law principles.
