1. Comprehensive Health Guarantee

Every bird bred and raised at Premier Psittacine Aviary undergoes rigorous wellness monitoring, nutritional analysis, and professional veterinary oversight before joining its new family.

  • Certified Veterinary Health Check: Prior to departure, your parrot receives a thorough physical examination from a licensed avian veterinarian to ensure it is free of clinical signs of infectious disease.

  • DNA Sexing & Genotyping: All birds come with verified DNA documentation where applicable, confirming their lineage and genetic background.

  • The Guarantee Period: We provide a 7-day health guarantee from the exact date your bird arrives at your home or is picked up directly from our aviary. This window allows you sufficient time to take your new parrot to your own certified avian veterinarian for an independent baseline exam.

  • What is Covered:

    • Congenital defects or hereditary illnesses that severely impact the health and life expectancy of the bird.

    • Verification of freedom from key avian pathogens tested prior to release.

  • Responsibilities for Validation:

    • To keep this guarantee valid, you must take your new bird to a licensed avian veterinarian for a comprehensive wellness check within 72 hours of receiving them. If any medical concerns or abnormalities are detected by your vet, a formal written diagnosis must be provided to our team immediately.

2. Live Arrival & Safe Transit Guarantee

Whether your bird is hand-delivered or shipped via specialized, climate-controlled live animal couriers, we guarantee safe and secure arrival reviewed further in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

  • In the extremely rare event of a transit-related incident, you must notify Premier Psittacine Aviary within 4 hours of delivery, accompanied by official veterinary documentation and photographic evidence, to coordinate immediate resolutions or replacements.

3. Return & Exchange Policy

Because live exotic birds require specialized, highly sensitive environmental conditions, socialization continuity, and strict biosecurity protocols, live animals cannot be returned simply due to a change of mind once they have left our facility. Biosecurity is our top priority to protect our closed aviary and our other vulnerable chicks.

  • Exceptions & Extenuating Circumstances: If an unforeseen family emergency or extreme hardship arises where you can no longer care for your parrot, Premier Psittacine Aviary maintains a lifetime safety-net policy. We will always welcome back or assist in the safe rehoming of any bird originally bred by us, ensuring they never end up in an unsafe environment. (Note: Monetary refunds are not issued for surrendered or returned birds outside of the initial health guarantee terms).
