To accommodate our customers while prioritizing the well-being of our birds, we offer two primary fulfillment methods:

  • Direct Aviary Pickup: You are always welcome to pick up your new parrot directly from our facility. This option allows you to meet our team, receive a personalized handover briefing, and minimize travel stress for your bird.

  • Professional Live Animal Air/Ground Courier: For customers located outside of our immediate area, we partner with certified, experienced live animal transport services that specialize in safe psittacine shipping.

2. CITES Permits & Regulatory Compliance

Because elite species like African Greys and Hyacinth Macaws are protected under CITES Appendix I, their movement is tightly regulated by national and international wildlife authorities.

  • Processing Time: Please note that securing official government wildlife permits can require additional processing time. We strictly adhere to the rule that no bird will be shipped until all required legal permits and documentation are fully approved and physically in hand.

3. Transport Standards & Safety

The health and comfort of our birds always come before speed. When utilizing our courier partners, the following standards are strictly maintained:

5. Weather & Safety Delays

In the rare event of severe weather conditions, extreme temperatures, or unexpected transit disruptions, Premier Psittacine Aviary or our courier partners reserve the right to reschedule a shipment. If a delay occurs, we will notify you immediately and hold your bird safely in our climate-controlled aviary until transport conditions are entirely secure.

6. Upon Arrival Responsibilities

  • Immediate Inspection: You or an authorized representative must be present to receive the bird immediately upon arrival at the designated airport cargo terminal or home address.

  • Notification Window: In the unlikely event of any transit-related complication, you must notify Premier Psittacine Aviary within the timeframe outlined in our Health Guarantee & Return Policy notifying us within 4 hours of receipt, accompanied by full documentation and photographs to invoke our live arrival transit protections.
